The most important organizational goal for my agency is; for members of the organization to understand the PBL process, identify resources and have a foundation of problem solving and crime prevention. We are at 39% percent of our staff trained and proficient in problem solving and I think we do have a good foundation. We sent three people to MSU's first line supervision school last month and plan to send the rest of our sgt's, and then from there send select people to Staff and Command.

OCSO does nor have written goals at the moment. Our written code of conduct and rules, policy's.... guide Deputies regarding values and professional standards. I believe vision statements for the four divisions would be of benefit.
A very good questiion Inspector. Something along the lines of "The vision for the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office in coming years is to plan and adapt for future growth while tailoring police services to a community’s unique needs while managing an explosive increase in the Oakland County Jail inmate population with reduced jail space".
Is to have some. We have none, and we need to develop them.
