Because it provides my teammates a different perspective that they or others may not see. The process of giving feedback also requires me to put critical thought into another's work, in turn gaining their perspective as well.
It helps them grow, supports effective behavior or gets them back on track if they are losing focus. It also tells that person that you care about them and their performance.
Because I am required to.... and because it is an important component to the learning process. The person giving the criticism shows that they understand the process and topic. The person receiving the criticism gains a new perspective to draw upon. And the people observing gain a better understanding of the overall picture.
